Discussion:
Ninnie: This is a really interesting story!

Victoria: Very touching ! If you usually cry to movies you will definitely cry to this one!
Ninnie: Hm? Like okay, you might think it's slightly more touching than I do, but sure, it is touching and it won't leave you without feeling her pain.
Victoria: Yeah. What do you think was especially good about it?
Ninnie: The fact that it's based on a true story and that it feels really real. Bad?
Victoria: I can't think of much, but if I should mention something I guess that would be that there's not really a lot of "changes" or huge events happening, everything is very "even" throughout the movie.....?
Ninnie: True!

Sum up: Interesting and touching story. A very good movie for those who likes movies based on a true story!

The Muppet Christmas Carol

Title: The Muppet Christmas Carol
Genre: Family, Comedy, Fantasy
Release: December 17 1992
Actors: Michael Caine

Discussion:
Ninnie: It's funny, sad and exciting! I really like it! Although I think that the first version, of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, you see is the one that you'll like the most. This was not the first one I saw there for not my personal favorite. Mine is definitely "Mickey's Christmas Carol". But still, it's really, really nice.
Victoria: Yeah I know what you mean. "luckily" (?) I can't remember Mickye's version very well (but I know that one is the only one I've watched before) so for me this one is special  I really like the characters in this version and how they make it funny with funny songs and so on....
Ninnie: Yes totally! If this is the first one you see, you'll love it! It's filled with Christmas spirit! If you know the songs you'll definitely "feel something" every time you sing them.
Victoria: Yeah I think it really gives you a spirit, which I think a Christmas movie should do... Can you find something less good about it?
Ninnie: Hm? Well I think that sometimes to much singing can destroy a movie, But then again it's Christmas and you're suppose to sing. And well of course I have to point out that for example when they're flying (it looks superduper lame and fake, but it's totally OK in this kind of movie. What do you say?
Victoria: I agree, well as long as the songs are nice it's ok, so I can't say it destroyed the movie. Not that I think you mean it that way anyway... But yeah, no otherwise I can't really think of anything. I think they made this one really good- a real classic.
Ninnie: No you're right that's not what I meant at all. And I agree!

Sum Up: Great Christmasy movie if you wanna get in the mood for the Holidays. It's good because it's both funny, exciting and sad, and if you're looking for a good Christmas carol and you haven't yet seen this one- see it!

Ninnie: 4,0/5

Frozen

Title: Frozen
Genre: Thriller
Release: September 28 (DVD Sweden)
Plot: Three friends goes on a skiing trip and manage to get stuck in the lift at night and everyone has left the resort. No one will be back until next weekend. How will they survive the freezing cold weather, hunger and ... the wolves.

Discussion:
Victoria: Dude, I was so caught up in this movie, I could totally feel the pain they were in! So awful! (the movie wasn't awful, just the pain)
Ninnie: Totally! It was really exciting even though it didn't contain much action. Some parts were really freaky!
Victoria: Yes, my body like hurts from watching it, I almost panicked everytime something happened.
Ninnie: Yea, I have to say that's the best part of the movie, all the freaky parts were your own body can imagine how it would feel like, though probably far from the real feeling. Bad part?
Victoria: Hm. I guess the only thing would be that if you are looking for action you won't find too much of it in Frozen. It's a kinda calm yet horrifying movie. Otherwise I think I was too caught up in the movie to think of something bad. You got something?
Ninnie: No, nothing.

Sum up: Non actionfilled, yet very exciting and terrifying movie that won't leave you without feeling any empathy.

Ninnie: 4,2/5
Victoria: 4,3/5

The Backup Plan

Title: The Backup Plan
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release: November 10th (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Jennifer Lopez, Alex O'Loughlin
Plot: Zoe decides to have a baby, but she doesn't have a partner, so she has to go through insemination. Just when she finds out she was lucky enough to get pregnant she meets a guy....

Discussion:
Ninnie: I have to say I'm surprised by how good it actually was. I usually don't like when singers does acting but I enjoyed it.
Victoria: Yeah me too. Although, I feel this way- it's a good movie, but I feel like there are already sooo many movies with the same story. Well, the insemination part, of course, isn't the most common story in a movie, but most romantic comedies are somehow... the same?
Ninnie: I hear you. It was entertaining for the evening though. I do believe a lot of women will enjoy it.
Victoria: Yes, I'm not saying they won't. I don't dislike it, I'm just saying it wasn't a special movie. So will guys enjoy it?
Ninnie: Hm? Maybe not so many but some will probably recognize what the man in this movie feels.
Victoria: Anything you want to add?
Ninnie: Nope.

Sum up: An OK and pretty entertaining romantic comedy made mostly for the female viewers.

Ninnie: 3,7/5
Victoria: 3,5/5
