Discussion:
Ninnie: I really liked this movie. It's funny it's cosy, it's interesting and it's entertaining!
Victoria: I agree ! I mean, it's Mr.Charming himself in the movie, so it can't really fail, can it? Haha.
Ninnie: Haha, true. No "wow-experience" from neither of the actors, acting wise.
Victoria: I like that it is kind of a different story, or I mean it's still a typical Romantic comedy movie but it's made in a different way, I'd say. I'm not sure that made any sense haha, but I hope you understand.
Ninnie: Bad part? Hard to come up with anything. It's not a perfect movie, but there's nothing wrong with it.
Victoria: Who should watch it?
Ninnie: I believe it's a movie for people who's 18 or older. Prabably more interesting for female viewers.
Sum up: A nice, average, cosy, romantic moive. Worth watching!

Title: Trust
Genre: Drama, Thriller
Release: August 10th, 2011 (DVD Sweden)
Actors: Clive Owen, Catherine Keener, Liana Liberato, Jason Clarke
Plot: 14 year old Annie meets a guy on the internet, "Charlie" who's 16. They decide to meet, and "Charlie" turns out to be a 40year old serial pedophile. The following 24h will change Annies and her families life in a way the never believed was possible.
Discussion:
Victoria: This is an awful movie ! In a good way! Or not in a good way, because it's a terrible story, but it's made in a really good and "real" way, I'd say!
Ninnie: Agree! It makes you so mad and I think everone did a great job acting wise!
Victoria: Right?! While I was watching it I was so frustrated at the situation and the girl, but I could totally understand how she felt also. When you think about the fact that these things are happening every day all over the World it makes me so angry! And the fact that it made me think so much about these things IRL is a sign that the movie really got to you!
Ninnie: Oh yes! I build up this hatred for that a**hole! Bad thing Victoria?
Victoria: Hmm.. Well someone might say that it is a bad thing that you get so angry with the movie, but I don't see it as a bad thing, otherwise I really can't think of anything that is bad-bad. Something really good, on the other hand, is one of Clive Owens last scenes where he cries, and he literally tears my heart apart. It's so emotional that even I almost started crying (and I'm NOT someone who cries in movies). Thumbs up for Owens acting.
Ninnie: Yes Omg, Clive is an awesome actor, and the scene you just mentioned is AMAZING!
Sum up: Great, emotional and frustrating movie. If you're looking for something intense and dramatic this is a must-see!

Plot: 26 strangers get the opportunity to be a part of a well-paid study of human behaviors where they have to spend 2 weeks as prisoners and guardians in a simulated prison environment. The experiment ultimately spirals out of control.
Discussion:
Ninnie: Let me just say Wow!
Victoria: Let me just say Wow as well. Really, really good movie. It made your mind blow. You get so frustrated while watching it and you do not want to stop watching it. That's how good it is.
Ninnie: Indeed! Actors are great! It's a psychological movie and I really like those!
Victoria: Yes. Would you say that this is a "viewers discretion advised" kind of movie? Who should and should not watch The Experiment?
Ninnie: People who like psychological movies and likes to see how normal people react under these circumstances. If you can't stand to get mad and frustrated because of a movie you shouldn't watch it.
Bad thing?

The Hangover Part II
Title: The Hangover part II (Sverige: Baksmällan del 2)
Genre: Comedy
Release: May 25th, 2011 (In the theaters, Sweden)
Plot: Stu is getting married in Thailand. He wants his bachelor party to be safe and calm- but when all the guys are involved that is hard to live up to.
Discussion:
Victoria: I just love it ! I loved the first movie, and I am not disappointed in the second!
Ninnie: The first one is the most awesome comedy ever! And I'm not disappointed either. BUT it's nothing compared to the first one.
Victoria: Well, I wouldn't say it's "nothing". I mean it's kinda hard to do a follow-up, but I think they made it really good. Even though it practically is the exact same story and the same jokes I still think it was hilarious.
Ninnie: Ok, "nothing" is the wrong word. And you're right! I have to say that this one contains more action.
Victoria: So tell me, what makes the first one better? Let's say this one would have been the first The hangover movie. Would you still have preferred the (actual) first one?
Ninnie: Yes I would have. I think they exaggerated a bit too much in the second. Ok, I sound really negative! I do like it, don't get me wrong, I just want to be a bit of a critic.
Victoria: Yeah, I get you and I see your point. So, were there anything you thought was better in this one?
Ninnie: Hm? Well the fact that you know the characters from the begining is awesome and... hm? what do you say?
Victoria: Yeah that's all that comes to mind for me too. Who do you think should watch this movie?
Ninnie: Everyone who loved the first one! Let's face it, Alan is the most awesome person, and who wouldn't wanna see him again! Who shouldn't watch it V?
Victoria: Young kids. Haha. And people with no sense of humor ;) No I don't know. I'm not sure my parents would find it as awesome as I do.
Ninnie: Haha true!
Sum up: Awesome Movie! You HAVE TO watch it if you've seen and enjoyed the first one!

Actors: Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel
Plot: Holly and Messer are two single people with very different lifestyles. Unfortunately their mutual best friends dies in a car accident, and leaves Holly and Messer to become caregivers to their daughter, together.
Discussion:
Ninnie: I found this movie very entertaining and cute!
Victoria: I adored this movie ! It's so neat ! I mean, I thought Life As We Know It would be just like the average romantic comedy, but it had that "little extra" a movie needs to have to be slightly better than the rest in this genre.
Ninnie: True. They're both great actors and Josh Duhamel is great for this part, a tough but still soft guy.Heigl is alor great for her part. Do you think this is like similar to any other movie?
Victoria: I can't put a name on a movie it would be similar to, but it feels like it is. I do think it's a little different with the baby story and all that, and it's a pretty obvious movie, but all a long it's very emotional. My sister cried a little ^^ Is it more of a chick flick than a guys movie?
Ninnie: Hm? In a way yes. But I think that a mature guy would like this, the kind of guy who wants a family in some way, some day. But yes I do believe it's more of a movie for women, but to all you guys out there, it is funny and interesting! What do you say,Victoria?
Victoria: Yeah it's a chick flick, but like you say, if guys like those kinds of movies they will like this one too!
Sum up: A cute and entertaining romantic/drama comedy movie that is slightly better than the average chick flick.

Ninnie: They're idiots but you just gotta love them! They're freakin' awesome!
Victoria: Right?! If you've liked what they have done before you won't be disappointed. They have new crazy stuff going on and it's highly disgusting and awesome to watch!
Ninnie: Totally. Hm? This might be the best one actually! Or well actually I shouldn't say anything about that since it was a very long time ago I saw the other ones. They do have more disgusting scenes in this one, I personally like the dary things they do more.
Victoria: Yeah. So do I. In a way I don't have much more to add, I feel that if you know how and who they are and what they do you will either, if you like them, watch it and like this one or, if you don't like them, you won't like it. If you know what I mean.
Ninnie: True, but what do you say about the things they do, like do you think they're doing more risky things in this one or do you think that the fact that they're getting older they do easier stuff?
Victoria: No I believe they are worse haha. I mean they have always done weird stuff, and they do not disappoint the viewer in this movie. I don't notice them getting older. (Sounds like they are seniors or something now haha.)

Discussion:
Ninnie: I really enjoyed this movie! Like alot!
Victoria: Yes ! Me too. You'd think it would be like this normal, average romantic comedy movie with two famous actors, but this one, I thought, had that little extra. It's a neat movie.
Ninnie: Totally. I like both Aniston and Bateman as actress/actor and the kid was really cute. Some parts where really funny, some cute and some sad. Really good mix.
Victoria: For sure. I'm not sure it's a movie for everyone though. I think it's mainly a chick flick, guys might like it, but I think it's mostly for the female crowd...?

Title: Happythankyoumoreplease / Kärlek i New York
Genre: Romance, Comedy
Release: January 19th (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Josh Radnor, Malin Akerman, Michael Algieri, Kate Mara
Plot: Sam is a single man living in New York who finds a kid alone on the subway. The kid follows him home and ends up staying at his place. At this point he also meets a girl.
Discussion:
Victoria: Cute movie. Cute actor. Cute kid.
Ninnie: Totally! The story is a bit slow but I still liked it a lot. Let me just say one thing, Josh is HOT in the scruffy look.
Victoria: Oh yes. Ok, enough about him haha, although I could talk about him a lot more haha... I liked Malin Åkermans character in the movie, she was cool. But like you said, definitely a little slow. More happened towards the end.
Ninnie: True. So what do you think about the actors performance?
Victoria: I thought they all did a good job. Kinda average, not great but not sucky. How about you?
Ninnie: I agree. So good and bad? Good part, as we mentioned, it's cute and you want to know what's gonna happen. All the characters are kind of interesting individuals. Bad, also as we mentioned a bit slow. Who is this movie for, who should watch it?
Victoria: Well, I think people in our age (20 and up)- at least the female audience- should watch it and will like it. This is not really a super romantic movie, more of a cute one. So if guys like that kind of movie I think they will enjoy it too.
Sum up: Cute, yet a little slow movie with interesting characters.
We decided we need to rate this movie twice, because of the fact that we- forgive us- find the movie slightly better since we have some eyecandy (Josh Radnor) to watch all the time. Without him as an actor the movie itself is not as good. Apparently.

Discussion:
Ninnie: It's funny, sad and exciting! I really like it! Although I think that the first version, of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, you see is the one that you'll like the most. This was not the first one I saw there for not my personal favorite. Mine is definitely "Mickey's Christmas Carol". But still, it's really, really nice.
Victoria: Yeah I know what you mean. "luckily" (?) I can't remember Mickye's version very well (but I know that one is the only one I've watched before) so for me this one is special I really like the characters in this version and how they make it funny with funny songs and so on....
Ninnie: Yes totally! If this is the first one you see, you'll love it! It's filled with Christmas spirit! If you know the songs you'll definitely "feel something" every time you sing them.
Victoria: Yeah I think it really gives you a spirit, which I think a Christmas movie should do... Can you find something less good about it?
Ninnie: Hm? Well I think that sometimes to much singing can destroy a movie, But then again it's Christmas and you're suppose to sing. And well of course I have to point out that for example when they're flying (it looks superduper lame and fake, but it's totally OK in this kind of movie. What do you say?
Victoria: I agree, well as long as the songs are nice it's ok, so I can't say it destroyed the movie. Not that I think you mean it that way anyway... But yeah, no otherwise I can't really think of anything. I think they made this one really good- a real classic.
Ninnie: No you're right that's not what I meant at all. And I agree!
Sum Up: Great Christmasy movie if you wanna get in the mood for the Holidays. It's good because it's both funny, exciting and sad, and if you're looking for a good Christmas carol and you haven't yet seen this one- see it!

Victoria: Yes, my body like hurts from watching it, I almost panicked everytime something happened.
Ninnie: Yea, I have to say that's the best part of the movie, all the freaky parts were your own body can imagine how it would feel like, though probably far from the real feeling. Bad part?
Victoria: Hm. I guess the only thing would be that if you are looking for action you won't find too much of it in Frozen. It's a kinda calm yet horrifying movie. Otherwise I think I was too caught up in the movie to think of something bad. You got something?
Ninnie: No, nothing.
Sum up: Non actionfilled, yet very exciting and terrifying movie that won't leave you without feeling any empathy.

Victoria: 4,3/5

Discussion:
Ninnie: I really liked the concept of this movie! The dream worlds they are creating is amazing and you totally recognize the structure from your own dreams.
Victoria: I must say this movie is freaking sick ! This is one movie that I've actually only heard people say good stuff about, and now I know why. It's such an interesting movie!
Ninnie: Yes totally, and not at all like other movies. It was exciting and you had to concentrate to be able to follow what was happening, but not in a bad way.
Victoria: Inception is a movie you should see for yourself and make up your own opinions, it's hard to explain what you think and what it is about. This is a movie in it's own category. So Ninnie, is there anything that is negative about it?
Ninnie: Um? I wouldn't say there is but since it is such a complex movie it might be a little difficult for some people to understand.
Sum up: A fantastic movie out of the ordinary. It is a must-see for the watcher who wants something to think about after finishing it.

Actors: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph
Plot: Five good childhood friends reunite when their high school basketball coach passes away. They are now grown up with familes.
Discussion:
Ninnie: I really enjoyed watching this. I love Kevin James, he doesn't even have to do anything to be funny.Victoria: Indeed. As with so many recent movies I feel like I had my hopes up too high for this one as well. It WAS funny, but with a cast like this I thought it would me more of a laugh-out-loud-movie.
Ninnie: Yes, but I have been so disappointed with a lot of movies recently so I was kind of prepared to feel the same way this time, but I didn't. Even though I had my hopes up it didn't let me down that much.
Victoria: It's still a funny movie, I do like it. I think the story is good, and also true when it shows that "kids of today" don't play the same way as maybe one or more decades ago.
Ninnie: Totally! Best part about it is the actors/characters. They are really funny with their different personalities.
Victoria: Yes. I think everyone should watch it. It's not the best movie of 2010 but definitely entertaining!
Ninnie: Agree! I think it's at its best if you're like 20+.
Sum up: Funny movie with great actors and funny characters.

This is a huge mistake and some very dangerous people are mistaking on their identities. Their romantic evening does not turn out as they planned, not at all.
Discussion:
Ninnie: This is a really funny movie. Love the actors and their characters in "Date Night"
Victoria: Yeah, both Carell and Fey are two great actors. Always hilarious in whatever they do, and they don't fail in this one either!
Ninnie: Agree! The movie has a funny story and funny characters so it just can't fail. But were there anything you didn't like about it? And which part of the movie did you enjoy the most? Without spilling to much.
Victoria: Hmm.... Something I didn't like about the movie.. well, in that case I'd just say like random small unnecessary things about it, I guess- really nothing major or that comes to mind.
I don't think there is like one specific part of the movie that I like best, I just really like the way Steve Carell and Tina Fey act together. Every scene with them together is just always funny (and the movie is 99% only them.. so..). I liked when Steves character tried to be a tough guy- when he is obviously so not. Haha.
Ninnie: Haha yes, awesome. Also, I loved the awesome taxidriver.
Sum up: Funny characters, funny actors and a funny and exciting story. What else can we say, it's simply a very good action comedy movie.

Actors: Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw, Quinton Aaron, Jae Head
Plot: This movie is based on a true story. Its about a homeless boy named Michael Oher. A caring family takes him into their home, and they'll do anything to make him feel like a family member and give his life a better start.
Discussion:
Victoria: Really touching story. Great great acting- both from Bullock and Quinton Aaron!
Ninnie: Indeed! And I love the little kiddo, Jae Head. He's awesome. It's a really touching story as you said but I do think it was a little slow the last 20 minutes.
Victoria: If you're a "cryer" (in the sense that you easily cry to sad movies) I most definitely think your eyes will tear up to "The Blind Side".
Ninnie: Oh yes! My mum cried like a little baby. So, what do you think was bad about the movie?
Victoria: I guess the bad thing is, what you said earlier, that the last minutes in the movie was kinda slow. Who should watch this particular movie?
Ninnie: Every sensitive person. I actually think that everyone should watch it to learn a little about doing good deeds. It sort of makes you want to be a better person. You should watch it if you want a good drama movie.
Victoria: Sum it up, people! Really good drama movie, very touching and filled with a lot of emotions, love and inspiring people.

Plot: Emily is working as a social worker. She gets a case (case 39) involving a girl, whose parents tries all they can to kill her. Emily stops this from happening and takes the girl into her own home. She shouldn't have.
Discussion:
Victoria: Interesting story actually.
Ninnie: Horrible story actually! I totally HATE this kind of movie!
Victoria: I guess if you like movies like "The Exorcist" you will like this movie. I'm not a fan of horror movies, but I do get a little kick out of them. I WAS really scared when watching- I must admit.
Ninnie: Ofcourse since I left after half of it and you had to watch it alone, Muahaha. This is a really scary story and since I hate it I couldn't even finish watching it. So I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a reeeeally scary movie. Or maybe I'm just lame.
Victoria: Yeah, you are a little lame. But you are right. The girl is mega psycho. I did not want to go out by myself after that movie- what if I would have met a girl like that?! Was there something you liked about the movie?
Ninnie: Great actors. I mean I liked the movie. It's just that I cant stand the genre. But it IS a good movie.
Victoria: Yupp. Indeed. Sensitive viewers, do not- I repeat- do not watch this movie. If you're into horror movies you should most definitely watch it!

Discussion
Victoria: I have only heard from people that this is a really good movie, so obviously I watched it with my hopes up. It did take a while for the movie to become good......Ninnie: But once it did, It was REALLY good. It was not predictable at all. It took different turns every now and then. The actors did a great job too!
Victoria: My point exactly. The first like half hour/hour was kinda boring, or not much happened. But after that- boom ! and I really enjoyed it. It was filled with action and it was really exciting.
Ninnie: Indeed. Some would think it's too cruel at some points but that's what made this movie so great!
Victoria: Yes. I'd say if you're looking for a really good action movie- this is what you need to watch. BIG plus, also, to the awesome pictures and how they have cut everything, and the colors etc. Really nicely made.
Ninnie: Yes it's incredible! And don't give up after the first half hour/hour 'cause it WILL get better, that's for sure!
Victoria: Sum it up ! - It's a great action movie. If you like a lot of violence and an interesting story we would really recommend it. It is not suitable for kids or sensitive viewers. We'd say it's a perfectly great movie.
