Actors: Natalie Portman, Ashton Kutcher
Plot: Emma and Adam decides to have physical relationship- Only! No strings attached, no falling in love, no flowers, no expectations- nothing but the physical part. Will they be able to keep it to this, without someone falling in love with the other?

Discussion:
Ninnie: I really liked this movie. It's funny it's cosy, it's interesting and it's entertaining!
Victoria: I agree ! I mean, it's Mr.Charming himself in the movie, so it can't really fail, can it? Haha.
Ninnie: Haha, true. No "wow-experience" from neither of the actors, acting wise.
Victoria: I like that it is kind of a different story, or I mean it's still a typical Romantic comedy movie but it's made in a different way, I'd say. I'm not sure that made any sense haha, but I hope you understand.
Ninnie: Bad part? Hard to come up with anything. It's not a perfect movie, but there's nothing wrong with it.
Victoria: Who should watch it?
Ninnie: I believe it's a movie for people who's 18 or older. Prabably more interesting for female viewers.

Sum up: A nice, average, cosy, romantic moive. Worth watching!

Happythankyoumoreplease / Kärlek i New York

Title: Happythankyoumoreplease / Kärlek i New York
Genre: Romance, Comedy
Release: January 19th (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Josh Radnor, Malin Akerman, Michael Algieri, Kate Mara
Plot: Sam is a single man living in New York who finds a kid alone on the subway. The kid follows him home  and ends up staying at his place. At this point he also meets a girl.

Discussion:
Victoria: Cute movie. Cute actor. Cute kid.
Ninnie: Totally! The story is a bit slow but I still liked it a lot. Let me just say one thing,  Josh is HOT in the scruffy look.
Victoria: Oh yes. Ok, enough about him haha, although I could talk about him a lot more haha... I liked Malin Åkermans character in the movie, she was cool. But like you said, definitely a little slow. More happened towards the end.
Ninnie: True. So what do you think about the actors performance?
Victoria: I thought they all did a good job. Kinda average, not great but not sucky. How about you?
Ninnie: I agree. So good and bad? Good part, as we mentioned, it's cute and you want to know what's gonna happen. All the characters are kind of interesting individuals. Bad, also as we mentioned a bit slow. Who is this movie for, who should watch it?
Victoria: Well, I think people in our age (20 and up)- at least the female audience- should watch it and will like it. This is not really a super romantic movie, more of a cute one. So if guys like that kind of movie I think they will enjoy it too.

Sum up: Cute, yet a little slow movie with interesting characters.

We decided we need to rate this movie twice, because of the fact that we- forgive us- find the movie slightly better since we have some eyecandy (Josh Radnor) to watch all the time. Without him as an actor the movie itself is not as good. Apparently.

#1 (Thinking about the movie including Josh)
Ninnie: 4,4/5
Victoria: 4/5

#2 (Excluding Josh)
Ninnie: 3,8/5
Victoria: 3,3/5

New York, I Love you

Title: New York, I Love You
Genre: Drama, Romance
Release: December 29, 2010 (DVD Sweden)
Actors: Bradley Cooper, Andy Garcia, Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, Christina Ricci
Plot: A story of several couples living in New York.

Discussion:
Ninnie: Okay, seriously what's up with this movie?! This is a typical example of a movie where the director just chooses all these famous actors and make a movie which is not good at all.
Victoria: Bo-oo-rii-iing. Boring. Throughout the movie I was just waiting for something to happen. Nothing did. I don't really understand the purpose of New York, I love you.
Ninnie: Me neither. I mean the stories are not even interesting! You don't get any feeling about any of the characters, they're just there, and then they're not. It's like an unfinished story. Maybe that's the point? But it's a waste of time.
Victoria: Totally. Judging by the cover I was hoping this would be a nice movie about cute couples living in NY, but it doesn't even bring out the nice things with the Big Apple. Will someone like this movie- you think? And who, in that case?
Ninnie: Hm? Maybe someone who likes studying others relationship, but there sure ain't a lot of time for that. So, no? But sure there's someone who's gonna like it.The only thing I kind of liked was the "story" about the old couple, it was cute.
Victoria: I would not recommend it to anyone, actually.

Sum up: Big waste of time for viewers, big waste of money for the makers and a waste of time and effort from the good actors in it.

Ninnie: 1,5/5
Victoria: 1,5/5

The Backup Plan

Title: The Backup Plan
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release: November 10th (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Jennifer Lopez, Alex O'Loughlin
Plot: Zoe decides to have a baby, but she doesn't have a partner, so she has to go through insemination. Just when she finds out she was lucky enough to get pregnant she meets a guy....

Discussion:
Ninnie: I have to say I'm surprised by how good it actually was. I usually don't like when singers does acting but I enjoyed it.
Victoria: Yeah me too. Although, I feel this way- it's a good movie, but I feel like there are already sooo many movies with the same story. Well, the insemination part, of course, isn't the most common story in a movie, but most romantic comedies are somehow... the same?
Ninnie: I hear you. It was entertaining for the evening though. I do believe a lot of women will enjoy it.
Victoria: Yes, I'm not saying they won't. I don't dislike it, I'm just saying it wasn't a special movie. So will guys enjoy it?
Ninnie: Hm? Maybe not so many but some will probably recognize what the man in this movie feels.
Victoria: Anything you want to add?
Ninnie: Nope.

Sum up: An OK and pretty entertaining romantic comedy made mostly for the female viewers.

Victoria: 3,5/5

Killers

Genre: Action, Comedy, Romance, Thriller
Release: October 20 (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl
Plot: Jen finally meets the man of her dreams, Spencer. What she doesn't know is that she marries an ex "killer".

Discussion:
Ninnie: Let me just say wow. This is a perfect action comedy movie!
Victoria: It definitely is. Killers is like the face of the perfect action comedy (and romance) movie! If someone would ask me for a good (or great) movie in this genre I would totally say this one.
Ninnie: Yes. I laughed and was super tense at the same time. There were some really funny scenes. They really caught the "normal" life situation at the same time as something really exciting was happening.
Victoria: Oh yes. Both Kutcher and Heigl does a great job on the acting part. They are both really funny and connect really well...... and a plus for the female viewers: Ashton Kutcher is HOT!
Ninnie: Oh yeah! Any bad parts in the movie?
Victoria: Nope. Can't think of any. You?
Ninnie: Nope. I loved it!

Sum up:  A perfect action/comedy/romantic movie. It has it all and a little bit more. The perfect combination!

Prince of Persia

Title: Prince of Persia (The Sands of Time)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Remember
Release: September 22 (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina
Plot: The brave prince Daston decides to help a rival princess Tamina and protect a special (magical) dagger. This dagger has the ability to change and turn back time

Discussion:
Victoria: I don't really like"these kinds" of movies. I happen to think they are usually always the same, and that there are boring wars and conflicts going on all the time. But somehow this one manage to be a little different and for some reason I liked it.
Ninnie: I see your point. I usually end up liking these kinds of movies even though I think I won't. And this is not an exception. It was exciting from the start and continued that way 'til the end. It's not the best adventure/fantasy/action movie I've seen but it's definitely a good one,
Victoria: Yes. It was really exciting all way through. As the viewer you think that everything will be solved every 10min and then something else appears and just turns it back around again. It had an interesting story and the action parts were really cool.
Ninnie: Yes, I love his awesome "moves"! They're not really realistic but I was impressed anyway haha. So what's bad about "Prince of Persia"?
Victoria: I don't really have anything bad-bad to say about the movie. I'm not saying it's a perfect movie, but no, I can't really think of anything in particular that was bad about it. If you have anything, go ahead and fill me in.
Ninnie: Hm? No, I think I totally agree on that.

Sum up: A good adventurous movie. Cool action scenes and a pretty exciting story.

Youth in Revolt

Title: Youth in Revolt
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance
Release: October 13th (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Michael Cera, Portia Doubleday, Jean Smart
Plot: Nick Twisp, a teenage boy, who meets a girl and falls inlove. She wants him to be more of a rebel, which he's not. He creates an alter ego and changes his lifestyle drastically.

Discussion:
Victoria: The thing is I'm always gonna like a movie when Micheal Cera is in it (one exception- Year One). But I just love him. If Ninnie has a crush on the Adam character in the movie "Adam", I have a crush on Micheal Cera. Haha.
Ninnie: I hear you! Like if Micheal Cera hadn't had a part in this movie I would have thought that this was just a typical highschool American Pie kind of movie. But Micheal Cera changed my opinion.
Victoria: Yeah, I do think though- that even if Cera wouldn't have been in this one it would still be better than an American Pie movie. I just love Micheals ability to play such an innocent guy (kinda the way you "know" him), and in this movie I loved how he showed that he also can play a "badass".
Ninnie: The acting performance from the rest of the cast was nothing major and not very impressive, but not bad.
Victoria:
True. I really like this movie- I'm not sure if I like it this much just because it's with M.C, but I think it's a funny movie!
Ninnie: Yes I agree. Who should and who shouldn't watch it?
Victoria: I actually think that someone who's looking for an easy, funny movie should give it a shot.

Sum up:
A funny yet not brilliant comedy. Worth watching if you're between 13 to 30 years old.

Victoria: 4/5
Ninnie: 3,7/5

Remember me

Title: Remember Me
Genre: Drama, Romance
Release: August 18 (DVD, Sweden)
Actors: Robert Pattinson, Ruby JerinsChris Cooper, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan
Plot: A love drama movie about two young people with different family issues. They meet, fall inlove and struggle with their own and each others backgrounds.

Discussion:
Ninnie: This is a very good example of a good drama movie.
Victoria: Yes. What I liked about it is that it's not so "perfect and pink", it's a little darker and more emotional. I like all the relations in the movie- you could really feel them. For example, Tylers (R.Pattinson) relationship to his father- which it pretty nonexisting yet very strong..?
Ninnie: True. The actors did a really good job! I have to give heads up to Tylers little sister (Ruby Jerins)!
This movie feels trustworthy and gives a good picture of what actually excists in so many houses/families.
Victoria: Was there something you disliked with Remember me?
Ninnie:  Hm? Like it isn't the best movie I've seen but there's nothing to complain about, really.
Victoria: I hear you. I was just thinking about who should watch this movie, and I bet anyone who's on "Team Edward" will like this one. No, but seriously though, if you're looking for a quite emotional drama/romantic movie I'd definitely recommend it.
Ninnie: Totally! I've heard a lot of people saying that they didn't like the ending. But I did. You totally didn't see that one coming until the last minutes. I didn't like-like the ending but it was good.

Victoria: Moving on to a sum up. We definitely think this is a movie you should watch. It has a good story, good relationships and the actors does a great job.

Ninnie: 4/5
Victoria: 3,9/5

I love you Philip Morris

Title: I love you Philip Morris
Release: August 18
Genre: Comedy, drama, romance
Plot: Steven goes from being happily married to a women to realizing he is gay. His new life involves fraud and constant lying to his new life partner Philip Morris.

Discussion:
Ninnie: Okey, really don't know what to think about this movie. It's good but still pretty "unnecessary".
Victoria: When I was watching it all I kept thinking was "what is this?". Jim Carrey in this kind of movie...? Nah, I don't really know about that. I didn't really understand the deal with this movie, to be honest.
Ninnie: Me neither. I mean at some points I thought "oh maybe it isnt that bad", but really its not my kind of movie at all. Did you think it was exciting V?
Victoria: I wouldn't say exciting- more... I don't know. The only word that comes up in my head is "weird". Haha.
Ninnie: Yeah, exactly. What do you think about the actors performance?
Victoria:
I normally like Jim Carrey- some people do some don't, that's just how it is I think. This movie was just wrong for him- or wrong for me to watch, I guess. The actors did an OK job, not really something that I paid much attention to. What do you say?
Ninnie: I agree about Jim Carrey. I'd say Ewan McGregor did a slightly better job. I believed him being a gay and loving man.
Victoria: Yes. I'm trying to think about something good to say about it, and I can't really think of anything- yet it's not that sucky, don't get me wrong. It's just very unspecial and weird.

Ninnie: Ok a sum up: It's not a horrible movie and it's not a great movie. If you'd like to see Jim Carrey in a different role, then fine, it's an okey movie. It's ok to see if there isn't anything else on TV.

Victoria: 2/5

The Last Song

Title: The Last Song
Release:  September 8 (DVD, Sweden)
Genre: Romantic Drama
Actors: Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Greg Kinnear, Bobby Coleman
Plot: Rebellious teenager reunites/reconnect/stays with her father for the summer, where she meets Will. And summer doesnt go as she imagined.

Discussion:
Ninnie: Okey so this movie was over all good but it's sort of like the writer wants to put every Cliché scenario into the story
Victoria: Couldn't agree more. Some parts are really lame (though other people might find those parts very... good?) but there's definitely parts in the movie that are good. I want to give heads up to the little brother!
Ninnie: Oh yes we love him!
Victoria: So, Ninnie... Would you say that the movie was predictable?
Ninnie: Hm? Yes mostly I could definitely tell what was going to happen. I guess I'd say that was predictable. What do you say?
Victoria: Yeah, I feel the same way. There were never really one scene that shocked or surprised me.
Ninnie: What do you say about the actors performance?
Victoria: As I mentioned earlier, I really liked the Bobby Coleman, who played the little brother. He did great ! The dad was really good too. When it comes to Miley Cyrus, who played the main character, I'm not really sure. The thing is, I am not a Miley fan to begin with and it took me quite a while to actually start to like her. She did alright though.
Ninnie: Considering that she's been playing Hannah Monatana for a couple of years, you'd think she would be a better actress. Although she did pretty good over all.
So who do you think should see this movie?
Victoria: People who like really cheesy romantic drama movies. People who easily cry to movies will defintely shed a tear to this one. Might not reach out all that much to guys?
Ninnie: No definitely not.

Victoria: Let's sum it up, shall we. It's good movie if you ARE looking for a typical romantic drama, and like "the way" movies are usually set up. We would recommend this movie to everyone besides the ones that want to see a more unpredictable movie and wants a little bit extra of everything.
Ninnie: Yep, its sort of like the movie is missing that extra part that makes it memorable.

Ninnie: 3/5
Victoria: 3/5
